I promised all kinds of things, and ended up doing nothing. I guess that's the way it goes. Instead of trying to make up explanations, I'll just show you what I've been knitting during my summer break. First, there are the Punk Kitten Mittens, my own design, the yarn is Novita Wool. I already gave one pair to a friend. Although these are quite easy to knit, I could put the pattern here if anyone's interested.

This is my take on Twiggy Bobble Hat, the pattern can be found here, as you might know. The yarn here is also Novita Wool, 100% wool. I think it knits up quite nicely. By the way, notice the not-so-long-ago dyed hair ;)
Tällä hetkellä on työn alla Shimmer knitty.comista (edelleen; puolet takakappaleesta ja puolitoista hihaa valmiina) sekä lapaset serkkutytölle, lisäksi pitäisi Mr Knittitudelle luoda kaulahuivi-pipo-kynsikässetti. Ostin myös kerän uutta Step-lankaa Käsityö-Elisan tarjouksesta, siitä syntynee kahdetkin naisten sukat, joista toiset varmaan menevät pukinkonttiin. Kovasti kihelmöi päästä neulomaan, lanka tuntui oikein kivalta ja keräkin on mukavan riittoisa.
At the moment I'm knitting a Shimmer from knitty.com (half-done now) and a pair of mittens for my cousin. I should also make a scarf/hat/glove set for Mr Knittitude. I also bought a skein of the new sock yarn called Step. I guess one skein will be enough for two pairs of women's socks; one of the pairs will probably be a Christmas present for somebody. I really can't wait to get knitting, the yarn felt very nice indeed, and there's 420 metres per 100 g skein (yay!).
