Ja vielä joitakin juttuja - Some more stuff

Tässä odottavat puikoille pääsyä sulassa sovussa Topp Mohair ja Mohair Lux. Luxista on tulossa Fifi äidille äitienpäiväksi, mutta saa nähdä ehdinkö tenttisuman keskellä saada sitä ajoissa valmiiksi... Topp Mohairista olisi tarkoitus tehdä hämähäkinverkkomainen suorakaiteen muotoinen huivi, sitäkin on toinen kerä vielä varastossa.
Mohair yarns just lying here waiting for me to knit them :) I'm going to make a Fifi for my mother (Mohair Lux will be used for this) but I'm not sure whether I'll manage to knit it in time for the Mothers' Day. Topp Mohair is probably going to take the form of a rectangular shawl, reminiscent of spiderweb...

Näistä tulee very tall socks, knitty.comista. Lankana on Gjestalin Maija, värit näkyvät tässä oikein hyvin. Kaksi kerää jokaista väriä ja ylimääräinen kappale tummaa lilaa riittää sukkapariini.

Uusia Addeja piti päästä kokeilemaan, joten tästä piti aluksi tulla unisukat knitty.comin Hedera-mallilla. Nyt kuitenkin näyttää siltä että näistä tuleekin säärystimet, mallineuleena se Hederassa käytetty pitsineule. Tarpeeksi napakat etteivät mene kantapään alle tanssiessa!
I had to try out my new Addi needles, so I was going to make sleeping socks, using the Hedera pattern from knitty.com. However, it seems that the yarn wants to become a pair of legwarmers, so I'm using the lace pattern of Hedera. These will be tight enough not to slip under the heels when dancing, which is nice!
